Great NOLA food and a nice atmosphere. Customer service is great as well. We will return soon!
I've eaten here about 6 times in the past two weeks, not just because it's convenient, not just because they have great prices, but because it tastes amazing! My wife is from New Orleans and I know authentic food when I taste it and this is it. Everything is delicious and I can't recommend this place enough. I definitely recommend starting with a poboy and expanding from there.
DELICIOUS!!!! The food at this place is the best! I will definitely be going back! Try the fried Shrimp it was not over seasoned at was so flavorful!
Finally home away from home! Tried it for the 1st time and fell in love! Great customer service! Delicious Food and the Jazzy Juice is on point! So nice to meet you Shanick!
This is my first time ordering here and it's already one of my top creole restaurants in Atlanta. They are new to the area but the food speaks for itself. I ordered the stuffed pepper dinner with a potato drenched in the seafood sauce (crawfish shrimp etc) and it was AMAZING, seasoned to perfection. The staff and owners are extremely pleasant they make you feel at home while waiting on your food. This is a carry out restaurant so be prepared to eat in your car because I promise, you won't make it home before you start to dig in!!
Bayou potato was everything. Couldn't eat it all in one setting. Restaurant is small. The blueberry lemonade is kool-aid FYI lol but overall decent eatery.
I grew up near Powder Springs, but since living in Atlanta, I haven't visited any of the many new establishments that exist there. Driving through the quaint downtown, I wanted to eat lunch at a local place, not an "anywhere" chain restaurant. I spotted Lola's - attached to a gas station - which for some reason made me believe that the food was good. ;) And I love good New Orleans style food! It's a cute space with a few tables and light Mardi Gras decor. The overhead menu is perfectly positioned in a way that gives you a little privacy to decide what you want before approaching the counter. When I did, I was greeted by a friendly woman and man who told me, yes, they do have seafood gumbo and you can get a small side dish portion. I ordered that and a small side of red beans and rice. I was told the mac and cheese wasn't ready yet (I ended up ordering that 20 min later). The gumbo was delicious and contained a little bit of everything in that small portion - a shrimp, a tiny crab leg, a sexy piece of sausage, succulent chicken and rice in a savory/salty brown broth. The red beans and rice was even better - huge red beans that were so soft they were split open and blending in with the rice and flavorful seasoning. The creamy macaroni and cheese is white and peppery and uses fun thick spaghetti shaped noodles! Yum! A few things I didn't like - no free water, no drink options besides bottled water and soda and no real plates and silverware (only plastic/styrofoam). The service was genuine and nice. The man jokingly asked how I could not order the Jambalaya egg rolls, so I'll have to try that sometime! He gave me Louisiana hot sauce in a container and the woman gave me two coupons for future visits. Can't wait to return!
it's so delicious!! You have to try for yourself , amazing one of my favorite spot, Ms. Lola is amazing, the place is very inviting it feels like your eating at home
Food was awesome!! I had redbeans/rice,cat fish oysters and the cajun egg rolls. If you want a taste of that authentic New Orleans flavor this is the spot. I highly recommend Lola's. Definitely will be eating here again
Don't let the location fool you because these ladies are doing their thing!! As a NOLA native, I can vouch that they are official. I had the shrimp poboy, which was pretty good. Although you should consider to incorporate some type of "special" sauce. Also had the Caliope shrimp fries. Also were pretty good, but I would have preferred a different style fries for the type of dish. All around, still 5 stars. I just can't believe that I've been in this area for months and just discovering this beautiful "diamond in the rough"!
This is the best New Orleans cuisine I've had since I been in Georgia the last 16 years. This is definitely a place you want to visit. Besides the great food, that Louisiana hospitality is the Bomb. To all my WHO DAT NATION this is by far the best here in Georgia.
Best new orleans-style food I have ever had. She puts a creative twist and spin I'm not only Seafood but different styles of seafood food. I highly recommend the sausage burger patty and also be sure to try the jambalaya egg rolls they are fabulous! I know the cook named John. He makes wonderful food. But the owner Miss Lola hands down has the most creative twist I've seen when it comes to her Food Specialties! 10 thumbs up I'll be back
